Step Out

Hello Table- It’s been awhile hasn’t it? Well I have been busy  tapping into other business ventures to help increase my brand. If you don’t know I am trying my hand at being an author. Now I know some of you may be thinking, what are you going to write about, oh I have the creative mind trust me. What I really want to talk about is stepping out on faith. Listen if you’re a spiritual person you know that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of the things not seen. if you’re not spiritual than you just learned something new. Sometimes we have to trust and believe that we can succeed at something and just do it. Now I’m not saying quit your day job and start some insane business. What I am saying is start small like write down what you want to do, then start prepping to do it.

Now this doesn’t have to be a business it could be working out, whatever it is you have to muster up some courage and do it.  Never let someone  else’s negativity be the reason you don’t try something. Never let someone else’s fear of doing something be the invisible door that holds you back. There will always be someone who will be against what you want to do, but if God be for you than who can be against you. Taraji P. Henson said it best “If you allow people to project their fears on you, you won’t live. Get up and do what you have always dreamed of doing. If you want to write a book than do it. If you want to open a bookstore than do it. If you want to own your own clothing line than make it happen. If you keep finding ways or reasons you can’t do something than you’ll never do it. There will be some struggles but if you keep going than I promise you, you’ll make it. I speak from experience, so I wanted to write a book and with the help and encouragement from an awesome mom and neighbor I did. I have a book coming out in January and I’m already working on a second. The best thing I can leave at the table is Nike’s motto “Just Do It.” Alright table you know I like to hear from you so leave a comment, keep it respectful and I’ll see you at the next discussion.
