Hello Table,
It’s been a long time I should have left you without ….. a dope beat, nope, some good post to read. Remember that joint from Aaliyah and Timberland? However, hello my table it has been a long time. I want to apologize for the hiatus I took. I was gone away doing some military training. That’s right your girl is in the military serving proud for 17 years, but enough about me. Being away has given me so many topics to talk about. Some may be old but never forgotten and some definitely very recent.
In this roundtable discussion I want to bring up something not really old but on the back burner. Actually this is a two part but will discuss the latter at a later date. While I was away in training we discussed a topic that came up. Mexico was offering us (the U.S.) aid during the hurricane Harvey floods in Texas. Our president would not make a decision on the help (no shock there) and deflected to the governor of Texas. Of course, the governor said oh no, you need to make the decision and take the aid but that’s not my job to accept however, we need help.
The discussion revolved around should we accept Mexico’s help and of course the majority of said yes. Now there were some who said no because Mexico had an ulterior motive like using this against us when it comes to paying for the wall to build. This would have been a valid argument except Mexico has aided us in the past remember Hurricane Katrina? So one of these people was a Mexican male who said we need to just build the wall because undocumented illegals were taking all the jobs, what! Thats a later topic! Do you feel we should have taken aid from Mexico? Let me know table. Do you feel that Mexico had an ulterior motive? Please be respectful but honest. Sorry so long but we’re back on table, so let’s chat.
