A Crying Shame

Welcome back table,

So where have people’s morals and ethics gone? I mean it use to be a time when people did things for each other just because it was nice or the right thing to do. You could help someone out without expecting anything in return, but that is starting to be a thing of the past.

Let’s take this discussion of some teenage boys watching a disabled man drown. Are you freaking kidding me? You just sat there and watched him drown, but wait and then you had the audacity to video it with commentary. Now the police feel like charging the boys but they can’t. There’s no law in not helping someone. You can’t go to jail for that. I mean you could literally watch a person choke to death and not do a thing and nothing would happen to you. Never mind how sadistic and cruel that would be but where are your morals? Like are you so cold that you don’t care that someone could have survived because you helped them. Now I know there are some people that think well maybe they couldn’t swim and that’s  good point however, they had these things called phones and you know what, they could have called for help.

As a parent I would have been embarrassed and ashamed if a policeman or anyone would have come to me and told me my child watched as a person drowned and didn’t try to help at all. I heard that the teens just smirked at the police officers as they were questioning them. I know we have been having some serious serious issues with cops using unnecessary force towards people of color but this right here is a downright shame.  I promise you if it had of been mine I would be in jail for whipping my son’s you know what. I would have beat him so much when he thought about sitting down he would cry. Agree or don’t agree I don’t care but morals start at home. Teach your child before the streets do. Leave a comment or concern. See you at the next discussion.
